Dimensional/Volumetric weight is calculated by L×W×H (inches)/166
Dimensional/Volumetric weight comes into play when the item takes up much space in terms of length, width and height.
For example, if an item weighs 25lbs and it’s dimensions are 25 × 30 × 10 inches and dimensional/Volumetric weight would be 25 ×30 ×10 / 166 = 7500/166 = 45.18lbs. SHIPPING COST WOULD BE CALCULATED USING THE DIMENSIONAL/VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT SINCE IT IS HIGHER THAN ACTUAL WEIGHT.
There are pre-determined shipping rates for some items e.g $20 for Used phones.
